The Deputy Governor of Kano state who doubles as the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs has on behalf of the State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family of Alhassan Muhammad Dawaki who passed away late on Friday night.

Late Dawaki, died at the age of 79 and left behind 15 children.

Dawaki was a prominent figure who served as Local government chairman and Commissioner in the state, breathed his last after a brief battle with illness.

He was well-respected and his sudden departure has left a void in the hearts of many.

In a statement to the press on Saturday, the Deputy Governor’s Press Secretary, Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu, conveyed the sympathy of the entire state government.

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf acknowledged the significant loss that Alhassan Muhammad Dawaki’s demise represents.

He offered prayers for the strength and resilience of the grieving family, wishing them solace during this difficult period of mourning.

In accordance with Islamic traditions, the late former Commissioner’s burial rites have already been conducted.

He leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished by his surviving wives and children, who will undoubtedly carry forward his principles and contributions.
