In a statement signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, the police urged residents to exercise caution and avoid crowded areas until further notice. This measure is intended to give security agencies time to identify and neutralize potential threats.

“In response, we hereby urge residents to exercise caution and avoid crowded places and environments until further notice as a preventive measure to enable security operatives to identify and dislodge possible attackers.”
To address the threat, the police have deployed experts from the Explosive Ordinance Disposal and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear units to key areas within the state.
