The club’s recent struggles, including only one win in their last three matches, have raised concerns among both management and supporters. Tensions escalated after a goalless draw against Bayelsa United, where Abdallah’s behavior towards fans was deemed inappropriate, prompting disciplinary action.
In response, the club has appointed Chief Coach Ahmed Garba Yaro-Yaro, a club legend, as interim head of the technical team. He will be assisted by a team of coaches as they work to stabilize the squad and improve results.
Kano Pillars now turn their attention to their upcoming NPFL Matchday 23 fixture against Remo Stars in Ikenne, a crucial away game where they hope to bounce back.
