The Kano State Former Commissioner for Women Affairs, Hajiya Zubaida Damakka has died.
Daily News 24 reports that Damakka died in Abuja after a brief ilness.
Zubaida Damakka was also the former commissioner for budget and economic planning during the first tenure of the immediate past governor of Kano, Abdullahi Ganduje.
Daily News 24 gathered that her remains has already been moved to Kano and funeral rites will be conducted sunday morning at Gwammaja quarters.
She is survive by her husband and children.
Before her demise, she was the Deputy Managing Director of L & Z Farms.
