Governor Yusuf accepted Idris’ resignation and commended him for his contributions to the state, particularly in shaping the newly established ministry.

Appointed in August 2024, Idris served as the pioneer commissioner of the ministry, playing a key role in setting up its operational framework. His resignation follows that of Mohammed Diggol, the former Commissioner for Project Monitoring and Evaluation, who stepped down earlier in the year.

While the reason for Idris’ resignation remains undisclosed, Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation for his service and wished him a fulfilling retirement. He also assured that the government would continue to strengthen the ministry’s operations.
