The Kano State Censorship Board has praised event centers and open theaters across the state for their adherence to regulations during the Eid Adha celebrations.

Under the leadership of Executive Secretary Alh. Abba El-Mustapha, the Board confirmed that all venues monitored during the festive period followed the required guidelines for maintaining order and decency.

Alh. Lawan Hamisu Danhassan, Chairman of the Monitoring Committee and Director of Films and Development at the Board, stated that the Board’s efforts to ensure compliance were successful, as all visited event centers fully adhered to the set regulations. He emphasized that the Board remains dedicated to enforcing its laws and will take necessary actions against any violators.

Alh. Danhassan also expressed gratitude to the Executive Secretary for trusting the committee with this important responsibility. He further acknowledged the Kano State Government for its ongoing support of the Board’s operations, ensuring that the cultural and religious values of the state are upheld.

The Board has urged event center owners to continue their cooperation in preserving the state’s ethical standards during future events.
