The Kano State Censorship Board has taken action against the production of the film Zarmalulu, citing concerns over its title and content.

Executive Secretary of the board, Alhaji Abba El-Mustapha, stated that the decision followed complaints from concerned residents, prompting an investigation into the film. The board has summoned all crew members involved in the production to appear before a committee for questioning.

As part of its directive, the board has suspended all activities related to the film, warning the production team to comply with the investigation or face legal consequences.
