The Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission (PCACC) has successfully facilitated the recovery of 5 million Naira in a case involving a breach of trust concerning a land transaction in Dantsinke, Tarauni Local Government, Kano State.

In a press release sighted by Daily News 24, the spokesperson of the commission, Kabir Abba Kabir, stated that the transaction entailed a verbal agreement for the sale of land amounting to 5 million Naira between Mujahid Umar Muhammad and Mr. Zaharadeen Abdullahi.

Mujahid Umar Muhammad provided the commission with evidence of a detailed account of land transaction between himself and Mr. Zaharadeen Abdullahi, however after the transaction, Mr. Abdullahi ceased communication and failed to uphold the terms of the agreement.

Upon thorough investigation, the PCACC revealed that the funds were received by Mubarak Hashim, Mr. Abdullahi’s brother.

Upon PCACC’s intervention the complete sum of 5 million Naira was successfully recoverd.
