Ekiti Government has announced a new date of Jan. 21 and Jan. 22 for the examination for job seekers who obtained forms advertised through its Local Government Service Commission,(LGSC).

The Director of Employment and Posting of EKLGSC, Mrs Adewumi Fawekun, gave the disclosure in a statement issued on Tuesday and made available to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti.

Fawekun, according to the statement, said that those in the category of Community Development Inspectors and Higher Executive Officers will write their examination on the first day, Friday, Jan. 21.

The director added the examination for those in the category of Procurement Officers, Environmental Officers, Environmental Technology and Environmental Technicians will hold on Saturday, Jan. 22.

“This is to inform the general public, especially candidates who obtained employment forms at the Ekiti Local Government Service Commission,(EKLGSC), that the examination which was earlier put on hold has now been rescheduled as follows:

“Day one, Friday, Jan. 21 and day two, Saturday, Jan. 22, at 9 a.m daily, while the venue is Olaoluwa Muslim Grammar School, Ado-Ekiti,” the statement said.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that the Ekiti Governor, Kayode Fayemi, had in December 2021, directed that the N1,000 paid for application forms be refunded to applicants.

NAN also recalls that the examination was earlier scheduled to hold in December 2021, at the Ekiti University, Ado-Ekiti (EKSU) lecture theatres.
