A member of the Governing Council of the Federal College of Education (Technical), Potiskum, Yobe State, Nasir Bala Ja’o’ji, has announced plans to sponsor 20 outstanding students for master’s degrees abroad.

The initiative falls under the Ja’o’ji Foreign Scholarship Scheme of the Ja’o’ji Foundation.

Ja’o’ji emphasized the role of education in national development, stating that globalization requires both individual and collective efforts to ensure sustainable growth. He highlighted that expanding knowledge, developing skills, and fostering cultural exchange are crucial for societal advancement.

He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting entrepreneurship, skills acquisition, and education, stressing that such interventions contribute to a better and safer society.

“The selection process will be transparent, open, and fair,” Ja’o’ji assured, encouraging interested candidates from Tarauni Local Government Area in Kano State to apply through the designated link.

The initiative has been widely commended by student associations from Tarauni and Kano State, who described it as a significant step toward investing in education for national progress.
