This disclosure was made on Wednesday in Abuja by JAMB’s Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, who took full responsibility for what he described as a “sabotage” of the examination process. He assured that the affected candidates would begin receiving text messages about their new exam dates starting Thursday.
Out of 1.9 million candidates, over 1.5 million scored below 200 marks, raising concerns in the education sector. Only 0.24% of candidates, or 4,756 individuals, scored 320 and above, considered top-tier performance. Additionally, 0.39% of candidates, or 7,658 individuals, scored between 300 and 319, with a total of 12,414 candidates (0.63%) scoring 300 and above.
