The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has rescheduled the start of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to Thursday, April 24 – a day earlier than initially announced.

JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, disclosed the development in a statement issued on Saturday, April 19, 2025.
According to him, prospective candidates can now begin printing their UTME Notification Slips, which contain crucial details including exam date, time, venue, and center location.
To print the slip, candidates are to visit the JAMB official website and click on the “2025 UTME Slip Printing” link. They are then required to enter their registration numbers to access and print their slips.
The Board urged all candidates to visit their assigned centers at least a day before their exam to avoid unnecessary delays and ensure a smooth process on the examination day.
It also reassured that all candidates would be posted to centers within their selected examination towns.
