Southern Kaduna Christian leaders have convened a meeting to discuss the incessant attacks in the area, to provide a clear direction to it’s people on the way out of the crisis.

The Christian leaders met under the auspices of the Southern Kaduna Christian Leaders Association (SKCLA) ahead of the forthcoming Southern Kaduna Prayer Summit for peace.

Addressing participants at the meeting, Chairman of the association, Apostle Emmanuel Kure, said the community had waited too long for direction and guidance from it’s leaders amidst the security challenges.

“We believe there is a Godly wisdom out there that can break this siege and help our people out of this grave season.

“We need to decide our priorities at this hour, both for the land, the people and the Southern Kaduna Christian Leaders Association,” he added.

Kure urged the participants to be frank in their submissions and suggest practical ways of resolving the security problems bedeviling the zone.

He also enjoined them to work out ways of enhancing the economic growth of the area and its people.

Kure thanked the participants for honouring the invitation, in spite of the short notice, noting that their sacrifices showed that they had the zone’s best interest at heart. (NAN)
