Nigerian music star Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Baba, has openly professed his love for Edo State lawmaker Honourable Natasha Osawaru, declaring his intention to marry her.

The singer made this statement in a video shared on his Instagram page on Wednesday morning amid speculations surrounding his ongoing divorce from actress Annie Idibia.
Addressing the controversy, 2Baba criticized those spreading false narratives about his interaction with Osawaru.
He also defended the lawmaker, dismissing claims that she played a role in his marital crisis. He described her as an intelligent and remarkable woman who had no involvement in his separation from Annie.
Reaffirming his admiration, he admitted that he was fond of Osawaru and expressed a desire to be with her.
His declaration comes shortly after he publicly confirmed the end of his marriage to Annie. On Sunday, January 26, 2025, he announced on social media that they had parted ways after nearly 12 years together.
In the post, he revealed that they had been separated for some time and had now initiated the divorce process. While promising to share more details later, he explained that he wanted his fans to be aware of the situation, either to clear his name or take responsibility for any wrongdoing.
