The operation, carried out in collaboration with the Kazaure Local Government Chairman, Alhaji Mansur Dabuwa, led to the confiscation and destruction of 400 cartons of alcohol, according to Hisbah Commander Ibrahim Dahiru.

Dahiru disclosed that the alcoholic drinks were seized during raids on several bars within the area. He reaffirmed that alcohol consumption remains strictly prohibited across Jigawa State, in line with established laws.

He further stressed the board’s ongoing commitment to curbing immoral activities in the state, particularly the sale and consumption of alcohol.

The commander called on members of the public to support Hisbah by reporting suspicious activities that could undermine moral values.

He also advised residents to stay away from vices and conduct themselves in ways that promote societal well-being.
