A Kano magistrate’s Court earlier today, ordered the release of Jamila Muhammad Sani, wife of Abdulmalik Tanko, who is alleged of kidnapping and murdering  5-year old Hanifa Abubakar.

Prior to her release, Jamila Sani, was accused of conniving with her husband to abduct and murder the five year old.

Jamila  was set free today, after she proved her innocence by testifying against her husband before a Kano High Court on Thursday.

Barrister Lamido Soron Dinki, the  state counsel, earlier pleaded that the court to acknowledge the testimony given by the alleged killer’s wife .

Earlier, a  total number of eight prosecution witnesses were presented to the court against the defendants and the case was adjourned till 9th and 10th March, 2022 for further hearing.  (DailyTrust)
