The group described the proposal as a “hostile scheme” aimed at uprooting Palestinians and undermining their national aspirations.
In a statement, Hamas reaffirmed that Palestinians, who have endured decades of Israeli occupation and displacement, are determined to remain on their ancestral lands and uphold their historical rights. The group insisted that no plan to displace or relocate Palestinians would be accepted.
The Islamist group also called on the US administration to stop supporting Israeli policies that infringe on Palestinian rights.
It further urged Arab and Islamic nations, especially Egypt and Jordan, to oppose any plans for Palestinian displacement and to show solidarity with the Palestinian people’s resilience.
