Speaking at the reopening ceremony, Governor Yusuf expressed satisfaction with the revamped facility, noting that it was in poor condition when he assumed office. “Today, the result of that commitment has come to fruition,” he said, emphasizing the improvements made under his administration.

The governor called on hospital staff and stakeholders to ensure the maintenance of the new equipment and cleanliness of the facility, stressing the importance of providing effective healthcare services to the people of Kano.

Governor Yusuf further assured residents of his administration’s dedication to enhancing healthcare across the state, revealing that contracts for the renovation of all General Hospitals have already been awarded to ensure that quality healthcare reaches every citizen.

As part of the event, he also distributed essential medical supplies to hospitals throughout Kano State.
