Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has announced the passing of his Senior Special Assistant on Radio, Abdullahi Tanka Galadanci, who died on Wednesday after a brief illness.

Galadanci passed away at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, leaving behind a legacy of dedicated service in the state’s media sector.
Governor Yusuf, in a statement issued by his spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, expressed deep sorrow over the loss, describing Galadanci as a valuable member of his administration.
“The demise of Abdullahi Tanka Galadanci is a great loss to our administration and the entire Kano State. His commitment and passion for enhancing our communication channels will be deeply missed,” the governor said.
He extended condolences to Galadanci’s family, friends, and colleagues, praying for strength during this difficult time.
He was buried yesterday according to Islamic rites.
