The announcement was made during an Iftar gathering at the Government House in Kano on Tuesday, where the governor also unveiled additional benefits for the Marshals.

According to a statement issued by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mustapha Muhammad, the allocated plots were sourced from government land, not from public properties allegedly distributed by the previous administration.

Governor Yusuf further revealed that each group of Kwankwasiyya Marshals would receive Hajj seats for the 2025 pilgrimage. Additionally, he pledged brand-new Hilux vehicles to enhance their operational effectiveness.

Expressing gratitude for their commitment, the governor emphasized the Marshals’ role in safeguarding the administration and its supporters. He reassured them of continued inclusion in the government’s developmental agenda.

Earlier, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Marshals, Isa Musa Kumurya, commended the administration for its fairness in governance. He acknowledged the governor’s efforts in extending democratic benefits to the Marshals, just as he has done for other citizens.

Special Assistant on Marshals, Alhaji Babangida (IBB), shared a success story of a motorcycle beneficiary under the governor’s administration. The beneficiary reportedly sold the motorcycle, acquired a plot of land, and leased it to MTN for its service antenna, earning six million naira over two years.
