Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has given the green light for the recruitment of additional Mathematics teachers to serve in secondary schools across the state.

The announcement was made by the State Commissioner for Education, Dr. Ali Makoda, during the launch of SS1 school admission form distribution at Maryam Aloma Girls’ Secondary School on Wednesday in Kano.

Dr. Makoda explained that the recruitment drive aims to address the shortage of qualified Mathematics teachers in the state’s secondary schools.

He said the initiative reflects Governor Yusuf’s dedication to ensuring quality and free education, with active community involvement, to boost educational development in Kano.
