The announcement was made on Monday during a State Executive Council meeting in Minna and later confirmed in a statement by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim.
Following the decision, the Governor directed Permanent Secretaries to oversee the activities of various ministries until new commissioners are appointed.
Despite the dissolution, some senior aides were retained, including the Secretary to the State Government, Chief of Staff, Deputy Chief of Staff, and other key officials.
The cabinet, which was appointed in 2023 at the beginning of Bago’s administration, has now been relieved of its duties. The Governor commended the outgoing commissioners for their contributions and wished them success in their future endeavors.
