Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state sent his has expressed deepest condolences to the family of  the late Isah Ahmad of Government House Press Directorate, who died on Tuesday after a brief illness.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Kano State, Abba Anwar on Tuesday 6th December, 2022. 

The statement stated that the governor was shocked over the death the late government house staff, who had been in the service of Kano State Government House for over 30 years.

“We lost him when we needed him. But as Allah Ordained, He, Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala needed him the most.”  The statement read. 

Before his death, his major responsibility at work, was press cutting for governors to read and know the happenings of our society as carried by Newspapers.

He late staff, worked with many military administrators and many governors in the state. As popularly called Isah Press, was a clear link between Governor’s office and Newspapers distributors.

Governor Ganduje appreciated his dedication and patriotic posture to his assigned responsibilities at work, emphasising that, “Isah was committed to his duty and was enjoying his assigned responsibilities for decades without any hitch.”

“May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. May Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala grant him Jannatul Fiddaus and may He forgive all his shortcomings in life,” prayed governor.

Adding that, “Not only Government House, even state civil service lost a rare gem. So also the state as whole. Somebody who believed in what he was doing with joy, dedication, passion and complete patriotism.”
