Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state has approved the appointment of the new Head of Service, in-person of Usman Bala Muhammad, who until his new appointment, was a Permanent Secretary with the Ministry of Information.

Other Permanent Secretaries appointed are Engineer Muhammad Bello Shehu, who was, until this new appointment was Director Research and Statistics with Kano Roads Maintenance Agency (KARMA), and now newly appointed Permanent Secretary.

Magaji Lawan, who was also, until his new appointment as Permanent Secretary, was Director Final Accounts, Ministry of Finance, Bilyaminu Gambo Zubairu who was also Director PHC, Rano Zonal Office, is now a newly appointed Permanent Secretary.

Mairo Audi Dambatta, who was until her new appointment, was Director in the Office of the Head of Service, is now a Permanent Secretary.

All the appointments are with immediate effect. While congratulating them for the new assigned responsibilities, governor Ganduje enjoyed them to always work hard for the promotion of good virtues in the public service.

Adding that, “You must take it as part of your responsibilities, employing IT-based techniques in your day to day official engagements.

You must also bear in mind that, it was your proven track records that uplift you to present spaces. Hence all eyes will be on you to see how you will navigate through.”
