The Bauchi State Sector of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), says that all the vehicles impounded in the past six months for various offences will soon be auctioned to the public.

Mr Rilwanu Suleiman, Sector Head of Public Enlightenment, FRSC, in Bauchi, disclosed this on Tuesday in Bauchi during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He said the Sector Commander, Corps Commander Yusuf Abdullahi, gave the directives.

Suleiman said that all offenders whose vehicles were impounded within the period under review are to come forward to reclaim their vehicle, paying stipulated fines, from March 15 to March 30.

“There are some vehicles belonging to various offenders lasting more than six months. After this period, those vehicles are due for auctioning.

“Under normal circumstances, it’s better for us to look for the owners of such vehicles. So, they are hereby informed to come and claim their vehicles.

“If they refuse to show up for their vehicles, then they should know that in the next two weeks, such vehicles will be due for auctioningg

“We are using this medium to inform them to come and reclaim their vehicles with the fines attached to them,” Suleiman said. (NAN)
