A former Head of the Kano State Civil Service (Hos), Umar Shehu Minjibir has died.

Daily News 24 reports that the death of Mr Minjibir was announced on Friday by his brother, Sani Shehu Minjibir on behalf of the family.

Though his cause of the death was not identified at the time of filing this report, his funeral prayers have been scheduled to hold at Al-Furqan Jumu’at Mosque at Alu Avenue in Nasarawa GRA area of Kano city after Jumuat prayers by 1:30pm.

Mr Minjibir held the traditional title of “Garkuwa Minjibir” at his native hometown of Minjibir local government area of Kano state.
