On January 16, 2021, Nigerian singer and YBNL act, Fireboy recently saw his song, ‘Peru (Remix),’ which features Grammy-winning English superstar, Ed Sheeran hit No. 1 on the UK Apple Music charts.

Fans have continued to praise Ed Sheeran for his talents and mastery of Yoruba lines in the song that helped him deliver the hit remix seamlessly.

Before the release of this remix, Ed Sheeran revealed how impressed he was with ‘Peru’ and said he had the song on repeat for a week nonstop.

“It’s addictive, and I’m obsessed with it. I mean, Cherry will tell you, I’ve had this song on repeat constantly in the house for the last week.”

The song, which was produced by Shizzi, was part of Fireboy’s upcoming album, the singer revealed during its release.

The song about jetting around the world has become a huge global hit.

The remix and the original track have accumulated more than 20 million views on Youtube.

The album is set for release later in 2022.
