In a statement released on Wednesday in Abuja, the Secretary to the Board, Major General AM Jibril (retd.), announced that the decision was taken to improve the system’s efficiency and to ensure a seamless recruitment process across its paramilitary agencies.
According to Jibril, the temporary suspension was necessary to guarantee fairness and transparency in the selection process. He assured applicants that the portal would resume operations on Monday, July 21, 2025, and advised those interested to remain alert and submit their applications promptly once it reopens.
The agencies affected by this development include the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS).
