The announcement was made in Abuja on Monday, where the Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Dr. Iziaq Salako, presented appointment letters to the new directors. During the ceremony, Salako reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening healthcare institutions and urged the appointees to address challenges in their respective hospitals.

He acknowledged that newly established health facilities often face operational difficulties but expressed confidence in the directors’ abilities. The minister also noted President Bola Tinubu’s focus on Kaduna State’s development, citing the establishment of a federal university in Kafanchan.

Salako advised the new directors to engage with community stakeholders and align their efforts with the government’s healthcare agenda.

In his response, Dr. Shehu expressed appreciation for the appointment and pledged to enhance service delivery in line with the administration’s vision for the health sector.
