A tragic family dispute in Chirokusko Village, Tarmuwa Local Government Area of Yobe State, has led to the death of a 17-year-old boy, Abdulra’uf Abdullahi, allegedly at the hands of his father.

The incident occurred on the night of Monday, June 9, around 10:00 p.m., according to security expert Zagazola Makama. During a heated argument, the father, identified as Danga Shiru Wanzam, reportedly stabbed his son in the chest with a knife.

Although the exact cause of the confrontation remains unknown, police authorities responded swiftly and evacuated Abdulra’uf to the General Hospital in Babbangida. Sadly, he was confirmed dead upon arrival.

Following the incident, the suspect fled the scene. Police have launched a manhunt to apprehend him and ensure he faces justice.
