The blast, which occurred Monday night, is under investigation, with suspicions of militant involvement following threats to attack oil facilities. The threats came after the Federal Government withheld Rivers State’s allocation amid a political crisis.
The pipeline, crucial for transporting crude to the Bonny Terminal, remains at risk as authorities work to contain the fire and assess the damage.
