Former Liverpool and Manchester United star, Michael Owen, has made a new Premier League title prediction.
Owen believes no team will be able to stop Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City from winning the Premier League title this season, despite Arsenal’s ‘flying’ start to the new season.
Arsenal is currently on top of the Premier League table with a point ahead of second position Man City after winning seven of their eight games so far this season.
Speaking to Premier League Productions, Owen said (as per HITC Sport):
“On that form, who is going to stop Manchester City? I know Arsenal are flying at the moment and they are at the top of the Premier League table.
“But over the course of a season, if they keep playing like that, then there’s no stopping them.”
