The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has released instructions for candidates scheduled to take the online Computer-Based Test (CBT).

The announcement was made on Wednesday by the Secretary to the Board, retired Maj.-Gen. Abdulmalik Jibril, in Abuja.

According to Jibril, candidates are required to log in at least 30 minutes before their scheduled exam time. The CBT is set to run daily from 9:00 a.m., starting Wednesday and continuing through next week. Only candidates officially scheduled for the test will be granted access to the exam portal, which opens 30 minutes prior to the start time.

To participate, candidates must visit the exam portal, complete a photo verification process, and wait in the virtual waiting room until the test begins. The board emphasized that the system is designed to detect and prevent malpractice, urging candidates to adhere strictly to the rules to avoid disqualification.

The AI-proctored CBT requires candidates to have a stable internet connection, reliable power, and an appropriate device, preferably a laptop. Mobile phones and tablets may be used, but interruptions could trigger violation alerts.
