Rev. Fr. Abraham Kunat, Parish Priest of the Catholic Archdiocese of Kaduna, St. Bernard, Idon Gida, Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, has been kidnapped.
Rev. Fr. Christian Okewu Emmanuel of the Catholic Archdiocese of Kaduna (Office of the Chancellor) stated in a letter, “Rev. Fr. Abraham Kunat, the Parish Priest of St. Bernard, Idon Gida, Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State was abducted on Tuesday, November 8th, 2022 at about 12:30pm.”
According to the statement, the incident occurred at St. Mulumba, Kurmin Sara, Kachia Local Government Area, where Fr. Kunat had been residing due to the insecurity situation.
