The event, scheduled to hold in Kano, will see Whitworth try to paint at least 12 faces in three minutes and more than 220 faces in one hour, surpassing the current records held by Emilia Zakonnova. Families, students, art lovers, and members of the media are expected to witness the attempt.
Whitworth had earlier made an effort in 2024 but fell short. Since then, he has been training to improve his speed, accuracy, and creativity in preparation for the fresh challenge.
The initiative is supported by Indomie, one of Nigeria’s leading noodle brands, as part of its drive to promote youth empowerment and creativity. The company said its sponsorship highlights the importance of backing bold ambitions and encouraging young Nigerians to pursue their dreams.
For Whitworth, the record attempt is not only a personal milestone but also an opportunity to showcase Nigerian talent on the global stage.
