Best Choice Specialist Hospital has launched a mega free medical outreach, offering free consultations and slashing surgery fees by half, in a bid to ease the burden on families struggling with high healthcare costs.
The program, set to run from Thursday, November 13, to Sunday, November 16, 2025, is focused on patients with Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) conditions.

Hospital management confirmed that all ENT consultations during the outreach will be free. Patients requiring surgery will benefit from a 50 percent discount, with ENT surgery now costing N300,000 instead of N600,000, lipoma removal at N100,000 rather than N200,000, and hernia or hydrocele surgeries priced at N200,000 instead of N400,000.
According to the hospital, patients will be attended to daily from 4:00 PM at the permanent site on Plot 782/783 Tal’udu, near Sheikh Bashir El-Rayya School.
Speaking exclusively to Alfijir Newspaper, Comrade Dan Malikin Garo, Chairman of Best Choice Group of Specialist Hospitals, said the initiative is purely humanitarian. “We are doing this to ease the burden on the community and bring relief to families who are suffering in silence due to high medical costs,” he said. “Our mission is simple: quality healthcare should not be a luxury.”
He added that the hospital will continue to roll out innovative healthcare programs using modern technology and global standards. The outreach also honors Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, recognizing his efforts to revitalize the health sector and ease citizens’ burdens, particularly for the less privileged.
