A staunch supporter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from Bauchi State, Khamis Musa Darazo, has revealed plans to present a Sallah ram to the President in Lagos as a show of gratitude for approving the Kolmani Oil License.

Darazo, who has been a vocal admirer of the President, initially attempted to deliver the ram through the All Progressives Congress (APC) secretariat in Bauchi. However, he was reportedly denied access, prompting him to seek alternative means.

After consultations with community elders, Darazo resolved to travel to Lagos to personally hand over the ram to President Tinubu, who is expected to celebrate Sallah in the city.

The approval of the Kolmani Oil License is considered a major breakthrough for Northern Nigeria. The multibillion-dollar oil exploration project is anticipated to unlock economic opportunities and create jobs for the region.

Darazo believes the project will change the lives of people in the North and feels it is important to show appreciation to the President for making it possible.

This is not the first time the Bauchi native has publicly demonstrated loyalty to President Tinubu. During the election campaign, he sacrificed his entire NYSC allowance to support Tinubu’s bid. He also named his daughter after the President’s late mother as a symbolic gesture of respect.
