Akin Olowokere, the newly appointed assistant coach of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) in Ibadan, Oyo State, has passed away after collapsing during the team’s Monday morning training session.

Eyewitnesses at the training ground reported that Olowokere suddenly slumped on the pitch and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. As of now, there has been no official statement regarding the cause of his death.
Olowokere was a former player for Sunshine Stars of Akure before moving into coaching. He recently joined Shooting Stars as part of the new coaching staff following the departure of the previous team led by Gbenga Ogunbote. Before this, he served as an assistant coach under Edith Agoye with Sunshine Stars.
