In a statement released on Thursday, RAYCN National President Bilal Abdulahi warned that these alleged efforts involve clandestine operations, mass protests, and activities designed to create unrest in parts of the North West, including Sokoto and Zamfara states.

The group expressed concerns over attempts to discredit the government and create a perception of instability. According to the group, some individuals are collaborating with local and foreign elements to orchestrate activities that could jeopardize national stability

Abdulahi emphasized the gravity of the situation, stating that the country’s national security is under serious threat. He urged security agencies to investigate and take necessary measures to safeguard national security.

The RAYCN also called on youths, religious organizations, and civil society groups to remain vigilant and support efforts to maintain peace and democracy in the country.
