Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of renowned Islamic scholar and industrialist, Alhaji Nasiru Ahali, who died on Thursday at the age of 108.

Daily News 24 reports that in a statement by his spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the governor described Ahali’s death as a significant loss to his family, Kano State, and the entire Muslim community.
He acknowledged the late industrialist’s contributions to the state’s economic growth, highlighting his role in establishing industries and formal businesses that shaped Kano’s commercial landscape.
Governor Yusuf extended his condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for Allah to grant Ahali eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdausi.
