The Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU) has given the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) a seven-day ultimatum to address concerns regarding workers’ welfare and alleged victimization of union leaders.

Speaking at a press conference in Lagos on Monday, NASU General Secretary, Prince Peters Adeyemi, stressed that the union had presented a four-point demand that must be met to prevent industrial action.

Adeyemi warned that failure to comply would lead to the shutdown of all WAEC offices across the country, beginning on March 24.
