Ahmad Gogel has reaffirmed his position as chairman of the APC X Forum, dismissing his reported suspension as invalid.

In an exclusive interview with Daily News 24 on Wednesday, Gogel insisted that he remains in charge of the forum, stating that the disciplinary committee did not officially announce his suspension.
His statement follows a press release issued on Tuesday, which declared his suspension alongside that of the forum’s secretary, M.I. Tudun Wada, over alleged misconduct.
Gogel emphasized that he is not in conflict with anyone, maintaining that his priority is to support the party’s objectives.
Additionally, he expressed his apologies to the 15th Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, for remarks he previously made against him. Gogel acknowledged the Emir’s neutral role, describing him as “a father to everyone.”
