The Chairman of the Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission, Muhuyi Magaji Rimingado, has been released after his arrest by the Inspector General of Police monitoring unit.

Rimingado was taken into custody on Friday evening over the confiscation of property allegedly linked to a national chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The anti-corruption boss, who was granted bail on self-recognition, was released after writing a statement around 10:45 pm on Friday night.
Meanwhile, the police have directed Rimingado to appear at the Force Headquarters in Abuja on Monday for further questioning.
