President Bola Tinubu has approved the reconstitution of the executive management teams for 12 River Basin Development Authorities under the Federal Ministry of Water Resources.

This was announced in a statement on Wednesday by Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.

According to the statement, Rabiu Suleiman Bichi and Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso were appointed as Managing Director and Executive Director, Finance, respectively, for the Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development Authority.

The newly appointed officials previously served under the administration of former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje. Bichi was the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), while Kwankwaso held the position of Commissioner for Rural Development.
