Governor Malam Umar A. Namadi has suspended Auwalu Dalladi Sankara, the Honourable Commissioner for Special Duties and a member of the Jigawa State Executive Council, pending an investigation into allegations raised by the Kano State Hisbah.

This decision was announced in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim. He explained that the suspension is aimed at ensuring transparency and upholding the integrity of the state administration.

“The suspension is a precautionary measure intended to facilitate a fair investigation,” said Ibrahim. “We take all allegations seriously and are dedicated to upholding the trust of Jigawa citizens in the government.”

The statement emphasized Governor Namadi’s commitment to accountability and adherence to ethical standards in governance.
