According to Adekunle, the Governor’s leadership has ensured that Kano’s most vulnerable populations, particularly women and youth, benefit from democratic governance.

“Under the leadership of His Excellency, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, Kano State has witnessed a transformational approach to governance, with women and youth at the forefront of development initiatives,” Adekunle stated.

In his acceptance speech, Governor Yusuf expressed gratitude for the award and reaffirmed his commitment to improving the lives of Kano residents. “I am truly honored by this recognition, and it only strengthens my resolve to continue working tirelessly for the people of Kano State,” he said.

“My administration remains committed to improving the lives of all citizens, particularly through programmes that prioritize women and youth empowerment.”

The Governor also thanked African Trust Magazine for the recognition, calling it a reflection of his administration’s collective efforts to foster progress and development in Kano.
