The Peter Obi Media Reach (POMR) has dismissed recent rumors about a 2027 presidential campaign involving former Labour Party candidate Peter Obi and ex-Senate President Bukola Saraki as unfounded.

The speculation arose from a poster circulating online that features Saraki as the presidential candidate and Obi as his running mate, with the slogan, “Let’s restore our country back, come 2027.”

Yunusa Tanko, spokesperson for POMR, addressed the issue, stating, “It’s just people’s imagination. There’s no hint of a presidential run, but we’re working for the good of the people.”

Neither Saraki, a key figure in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), nor Obi, who remains with the Labour Party (LP) after leaving the PDP prior to the 2023 election, has officially declared any intention to run in the 2027 presidential election.
