Sheikh Aminu Daurawa, Commander-General of the Kano State Hisbah Board (KSHB) has revealed how the board invited ‘Umar Bush’, a Kano man noted for his vulgar insults on social media.

Daily News 24 reports that Mr Bush has become famous for his skit videos that have spread across social media showing him raining vulgarities on members of the public who make fun of him.

It was learnt that Mr Bush is believed to be struggling with undisclosed mental health issues which make him hot-tempered.

Recently, the short-fused Kano born had been invited by prominent people including famous Super Eagles footballer, Ahmed Musa, who was said to have given him N1 million gift.

Mr Bush had also been invited to Abuja by some of his fans who hosted him in fancy hotels and donated huge cash sums to him in exchange for his expletives.

However, in an undated video clip, Sheikh Daurawa, who did not reveal Mr Bush’s name said he had invited a person who was famous for his vulgarities on social media.

In another video clip, the Hisbah boss was seen interviewing Mr Bush at his (Daurawa’s) office.

Sheikh Daurawa said he had advised Mr Bush to desist from his business of spewing vulgarities for money as it was against Islamic teachings.

“We have advised him to stop using vulgar language because one day he would be married and have children, who will not be happy growing up hear that their father was spewing vulgar insults for a living,” he said.

Mr Daurawa also revealed that he had ordered a mental evaluation at a psychiatric facility for Mr Bush but did not reveal the results of the mental assessment.

“We won’t reveal the result of his mental evaluation, but we have spoken with some good people who have bought a piece of land for him.

“We want to help him get married and have a legitimate business that he can engage in to take care of himself.

“But we have banned him against being used as a clown
