Nadeem Anjarwalla, one of the executive of the Binance cryto exchange who recently escaped Nigerian custody, has been located in Kenya and faces extradition.

Anjarwalla was arrested in Kenya in a joint operation with the Kenyan local police. Daily News 24 learnt that, since his arrival in to the country, he had gone into hiding, but was finally caught by joint security service mission.

In February, Mr. anjarwalla was arrested alongside another Binance executive, Tigran Gambaryan by the Nigerian security whose accused them, together with their crypto exchange of manipulating the local exchange rate, tax evasion and money laundering.

Mr. Nadeem fled Nigeria using smuggled Kenyan passport, the Office of the National Security Adviser, headed by Nuhu Ribadu, had said in a statement following his escape from custody.

This mission was jointly done in collaboration with the INTERPOL, EFCC and the office of National Security Adviser.

He is expected to be extradited to Nigeria within the week.
