In a tragic incident, a portion of the Zazzau Emirate Central mosque collapsed on Friday, resulting in casualties among worshippers and injuries to many others.

The collapsed area belongs to the Kofar Fadar mosque, situated within the precincts of the Emir of Zazzau’s palace in the Zaria local government area of Kaduna State.

Local authorities swiftly responded to distress calls, working tirelessly to save survivors and recover the bodies of those who tragically lost their lives in the incident.
